Our Water Damage Restoration Process

Contact us to schedule a consultation. We’ll evaluate the damage, discuss your options, give you an estimate, and schedule your repair service.
Before your scheduled service date, prepare the space by moving any furniture and appliances from the affected area.
If the water damage has caused excessive expansion in the floor, it will have to be removed.
Our team of experts will tear out the wood floor, dry the subfloor (or replace if damaged) and then replace the floor entirely.
We then will sand and refinish the area, perfectly matching the new floor with the existing floor.
Once the work is complete, Old World Hardwood Floors offers maintenance and support tips/services to keep your floors like new.

Recently we had to completely remodel our kitchen due to a plumbing failure. We replaced our old linoleum floor with a beautiful wood product recommended by Randy Waters.
We called for an estimate. Randy came by the next day. He was very professional and offered a fair price for the job. The prep crew did a wonderful job of removing the old floor and grinding the sub surface removing old glue material. The install crew made incredible tight cuts around our cabinets and finished the job in a day. Randy worked with us and our contractor to come in to our home to place flooring around the schedules of all the other crews working on our kitchen to help get us back in, in a timely manner. Both the prep crew and install group were friendly and courteous. Randy’s crew did a thorough clean up job.
Friends and family who come to visit and see our new kitchen always notice and comment on how beautiful the new floor is. We would highly recommend Old World Hardwood Floors.
